A pause with... Angela's Ashes

«An unhappy childhood is bad enough. An unhappy Irish childhood is worse.
But an unhappy Irish Catholic childhood is the worst of all»

Angela and her husban try to get a better life in Ireland, but all they have is the worst life they ever had. Most of her kids die, her husban spends the little money they have drinking and the people don't like their 'strange look'. Frank, a boy and the oldest brother, try always to help his mom, but sometimes is very hard.
Read this awesome book to know what happen to Frank and his brothers, his poor mother and his drunk father. I know you'll not be disappointed with the book, only with the society, because this is the truth story of Frank's (the author) experience with school, work, girls, death and the Catholic church.

See the trailer (go down).
